a couple people at work have been asking me if i had a cold or a stuffed nose. "uh, no! this is just how i sound!" i do not even sound like i'm stopped up. i was so offended. whatever though.

i went to get my 'permit' today. the picture looks so bad. it is so lame that in south carolina, even if you're over the legal age of 18, you still have to get your permit for 6 months before your license. that is so lame. so if you were 55, you would still have to get your permit before your license. it's all good though. so the day before i turn 20, i can finally get this darn license.

yeah, so at work the other day, this lady gets all mad cause she had just spent over $50 and after one of my coworkers cashes her out, she decides that she has spent too much money and wants to return some stuff for her money back. well our policy is no refunds, only exchanges on clothes. she starts cursing at the cashier that she hasn't even left the store yet and tells me to call the manager so i do. now this lady, who is a stripper, comes into the store every week with a fucking attitude. so the manager comes and says no refunds, only exchanges. that's when that heiffer really took off.

she starts getting loud and cussing. this ghetto black girl starts talking about how two weeks ago, her purse had gotten stolen from our store. she talks loud, then leaves to talk loud and cuss in the parking lot. the manager follows her and she makes up this elaborate story that she left her purse with me when she came into the store (all customers must leave bags, not purses, with me when they enter the store) and when how she got it back, her wallet, money, driver license, and credit cards were all missing. i had stole them. that's when she decided to call the cops on me. two weeks later and only after she was refused a refund. well, the cops never showed up to arrest me. oh well, i was really looking forward to the handcuffs and ride in the back of the police car. maybe next time then.

oh yeah, i'm having a lot of fun driving around with her license. thank god i stole one, i really needed a stripper's license and all of her money.

at work...the mail man is stalking me. when he comes in every day he always comes up behind me trys to touch me. he always has to make sure that i see him.

old black guys love me at the value village. they love to flirt, but one older guy took it too far and i had to get real with him and i told him, after he came up from behind me and touched my lower back..."don't you ever put your hands on me like that." i think i hurt his feelings when i said it but i don't give a shit cause he crossed the line. i don't like people touching me. i had this bad experience with this older guy putting his hands on me when i was younger, but maybe i'll share that later.

well, i'm sleepy. i'll be dreaming about karamo's butt crack tonight. oh yeah! i'll have to shower in the morning after that one. :)

last night, i saw something that just boggled my mind. i was watching the real world philadelphia and they only showed the black guy, karamo, for only like five seconds for that whole episode. but when they did show him, oh...my...god.

now, i know he's gay, but geeze louise! he had this towel on and when he turned around and i saw that towel all low on his hips and saw that hint of his butt crack, i almost shook myself out of my seat. i was blown a-way. i had to stop to catch my breath for a little bit. oh my jesus, that man has such a beautiful body. what a waste.

ok, i'm back to my senses now. that really got me feeling happy and in such a good mood. it took my mind off of a lot of stuff. i've been thinking about that butt crack all day. damn!

JOHNNY AND THE CRABS

Little Johnny got the crabs from a girlfriend and wanted to know how to get rid of them. He found that there are three options.

1. Hold a mirror opposite of your genitals and the crabs will think that there is another crotch to jump off onto.

2. Shave off half of your pubic hair, set the other half on fire and stab the crabs with an ice pick when they run out of the first half.

3. Go to a movie; buy a box of popcorn, a coke, and a pack of milk duds. When the movie is really getting to a point of real excitement be sure to drop some of the popcorn into your lap so the crabs can eat some of the popcorn. The salt in the popcorn will make the crabs really thirsty, and they will go to the lobby to get some water. While they are gone, you get up and move to another seat.

for the past year, i have been so depressed. and when people ignore me, i get even more depressed. i feel so fucking wasted. i'm just so so lost.

over this past year, i've been so depressed that when i went to sleep at night, i would pray to god to not let me wake up in the morning. over this past year i've been having these thoughts like what it would feel like if i took a knife to my wrists and how long and how deep i could cut that knife into my arms before i would scream and wince in pain. i would imagine how it would feel to take a gun to the side of my head and just pull the trigger. how it would feel to jump off a very tall building...laughing on my way down. how it would feel if i swerved into oncoming traffic as i was driving. thoughts of a suicidal maniac right? i feel so low. i can't take it anymore. it's been a whole year of this and i've had enough.

i'm just wasting away. i have noone to talk to or confide in cause i'm such a loser. i'm sitting here on this fucking computer typing to noone. my problems being heard by noone. i can't seem to find my happiness. i wish i could just go somewhere really far away and not let anyone know where i am. if only for a little while. where can i find my peace?

it seems like everybody is succeeding in their lives but me. why not me? what did i do that was so wrong? FUCK! i'm really going through some shit. i can't find a place to be happy. i'm not happy here, i'm not happy there. what do i have to do, dammit?!?! oh, god. my depression constantly turns into unwarranted anger. extreme anger at times. i lash out at everybody or just keep it all bottled in to the point where i start to ache. i find my self crying for no reason all the time now. everyone that i know would be so surprised to hear all this crap coming from little old me, but that just shows how good people know me. i can't get close to anyone. nobody really knows who i am. it's my own fucking fault. i'm so goddamned shy. it's sick. i'm sick. i can't help it though.

people used to talk about me all the time in elementary and middle school. nobody liked me. all my hair fell out in middle school and that made it even worse. then when i finally got to high school it got so much better. but when you hear someone you love going off on you and just saying such hurtful bullshit things, it's wicked man. you don't know how bad it hurts. who's on your side if your family and the ones you love aren't? i'm just so confused, hurt, and so so tired. i want the happiness that everyone else has. why can't i have that?

what would it feel like if i tied a belt around my neck and hung it from the ceiling and jumped? i'm breaking down man. i'm breaking up...i'm breaking away. let me go to sleep now, i'm getting a headache.

ok, so i have a new apartment now. i just could not live by my step mom's rules so i got the 'f' out. i live with this african girl named Yaa now. she's pretty cool so far. she says she's quiet just like me and doesn't like a lot of noise, just like me. that's pretty good. it's almost a new year. one more day in 2003 and i could care less. i feel like such a loser now that high school is over with. in high school, i felt that i was somebody important, but out here in the real world, i'm a nobody again. it took me three and a half years to be half way cool at west meck and now i have to start right back over again. and since i'm making zero progress, i think i need to move back to charlotte and go to chapel hill or unc charlotte or just move closer to lamar. i have no other options other than to stay here and rot away. i'm so depressed now.

ok, so my new years resolutions are to :

brush my teeth at least three times a day instead of twice a day (i have this obsessive compulsive thing where i feel like i always have to brush my teeth now, i don't know what it is.)
work out for like 30 minutes at least twice a week, maybe three (yeah right, like this is gonna happen)
save up for a car
save up for tuition

me and lamar will have been going out for two years exactly tomorrow night at like 10 pm. that's so special. it lasted two whole years. i'm so proud of us. watch, when we break up, i'm gonna be all akward about writing this. anyways, i love him, so it's all good.

so i go back to school on jan 12. well that is if my dad gets this $3500 to me in the next two weeks. if not, i'll be working until august to get this money together for the next semester, which should actually be free since i'll have this HOPE scholarship. but we'll see what happens. as for now, i'm just trying to get stuff for my new apartment. i'll only be living there for six months though and then me and this girl that i know from work and that used to live upstairs from me, Porlisha, are gonna be moving into some cheaper, but just as nice, apartments. she's gonna be going to school for fashion marketing so she and i decided to move in together for a while. she'll be in school for four years and that's about how long i'm gonna be at georgia state, so it all works out. now i'd much rather be living with my boyfriend somewhere like riche is, but i guess i lucked out on that one huh. oh well, maybe in another life. ok then, i'm gonna go to sleep now cause i just can't seem to keep my eyes open. i'll holla.

so i went to work last night and i had a pretty good time i guess. i went to work like 30 minutes early, so i went intot he Big Lots next door. i went to look around but wound up getting a pair of gloves and some barettes for my hair. so anyways, i'm looking at the barettes and i hear someone say "psst...jennifer". so i'm like, what the "H" word? i look up and my friend vlonerius from the bus and train is there behind the counter. i got my things to pay for them and he tells me that he works there now and i told him that i work just right next door and he sounds all surprised. so we talk for a little while and he's like, well i'll see you around cause i told him that i had to be at work in a few minutes. so i went to work and then like an hour before closing, i'm doing section C cause i finished my section early (section B), like always (everyone in the store knows i'm the fastest to finish my sections...what what!) when someone comes up from behind me and scares the crap out of me. i think it's just mike just trying to scare me and i turn around and it's vlonerius. i was so friggin scared. i was like, what the "h" word are you doing (i actually do say "h" word and "f" word...i'm such a crudmuffin). so anyway, i was like, "are you on your break or something?" and he's like, "no, i just wanted to see what you were doing." aww. he was all asking me what time i got off work and stuff. he totally wanted to hang out with me afterwards i think, but he didn't get around to asking me cause he had to get back next door to work. he's such a cool guy. he's a junior at moorehouse and he wants to be an actor, but i think he's just studying business at school. how come i can't make friends with people my own age, it's always older people here in atlanta. all these older guys are coming up to me. this guy mike s., little mike, my boss bruce...all from work and vlonerius all like me. mike s. is 24 with 2 kids, dark skinned with four gold teeth. little mike is a 17 year old high school senior (i already did the younger guy thing and don't like it) and bruce is my boss. he's like in his mid 30s (gross!) vlonerius and i met on the bus and train and he has a girlfriend, but he still tried to get my number. i swear, guys these days. anyways, i gotta get ready for work now. oh god, mike s., little mike, bruce, and vlonerious i think all work tonight. i better put on some eyeliner...no i'm just kidding. bye for now. holla.

i just started this new job (at value village) and i work five days a week and it's just so crazy man. all i do is make sure that clothes are hung up right and that they aren't all over the floors. it's pretty easy work. now i can afford to pay this $3500 a semester tuition. so i work five days a week and go to school two days a week. the only day off i have from everything is on wednesdays. even then, i still have to babysit during the day.

so i'm supposed to be going to fort mill/charlotte for christmas cause my dad wants all his kids there. alan will be there from california and c.j. is supposed to be coming back from kuwait. it's gonna be a whole lot of fun, but the thing is that i have to work the day before christmas, so i don't know if i'll be able to make it down there. i might even have to work the days after christmas. but all i can do is ask, so i'll definately do that. then i'm gonna have to take off for valentine's day cause my dad's getting married. i'm gonna be a bride's maid. that should be interesting. i invited lamar, but he doesn't know if he can come yet. i was supposed to be going to go see him over the christmas break and i really wanted to be up there for our two year anniversary. but i have a job now and have to work all the time. i don't know what i'm gonna do. i really wanna go up there and see my baby. but i guess things will work out in the end.

so since i have a job now, i can finally send off for my birth certificate. then after i do that, i can finally get my driver's license. finally!!! i've waited for so long to get it. finally, my life is getting better and better. i just need to make more friends and then i'll be all straightened out.

oh yeah, there's this guy at school, i won't even call him a friend. he calls himself "alias" but his real name is nicholas, so that's what i call him, or nick. he doesn't like it but whatever. but that's besides the point. the point is that he is such a freak!!! he has these thick, ugly, stank dreds and he's so psychotic. he comes to class smelling like old, wet, musty clothes. and he's so ugly. his eyes protrude from his face and when he looks at me with his eyes and his nasty chapped black lips, it makes me wanna throw up. it's that bad. i get so nauseous (did i spell that right?) and need to turn away for a while. i've been trying to avoid him, but he always sits right next to me in class and tries to talk to me all the time! why won't he get a clue? just another more month of it. he actually made the mistake of grabbing me today. i was on my way to class and i saw him and i said that i was heading to class and i turned to leave, this mother "F" word had the nerve to grab my arm. now if you know me, you know that i don't like being physically threatened. i whipped around and gave this dude the dirtiest look and he let me go and i'm like, "what's up? you wanna scrap or what fool?" and then i started fighting this guy right in the hallway...how weird is that? no, i'm just playing, i just turned around, gave him a dirty look so he knows never to do that again, had a few words with him, then went on about my business. what a psycho. he always tries to hold me up when he knows that i need to get to a class and make me talk to him or make me do something that i don't want to do. he always asks me for money and crap. like, why in the "h" word are you asking me for money? get a life man, you have a job. i can't stand him, but he thinks that we're such good friends.

and then there's my friend wade in my precalculus class. it's this white guy with this long hair that he wears in a ponytail every single day. he will not keep his mouth shut the entire class. ever since he found out that we both lived in the same town in arizona, he will not leave me alone. he talks nonstop. i just cannot stand people like that. he talks about "B S". but i guess he's not as bad as nick.

and then there's this really gay guy in my u.s. history class. now i don't have a problem at all with gay people, but this gay dude, there's just something about him that i really don't like. i don't know what it is. well i actually do know what it is. it's his voice! he has the most feminine voice i have ever heard from a man in my life. and i swear to god, it sounds like he's faking that voice, like he's trying to do it on purpose. i just can't stand it. i mean, i like the guy, he's the only person i talk to in that class and we're kinda sorta friends, but his voice is so friggin annoying. and he's so clean cut. his hairline is always shaped up and he has absolutely no hair on his face at all and his sideburns are always neatly trimmed and i even think that his eyebrows were waxed. that annoys me to for some reason. i just can't stand it. but like i said, he's a really cool person.

well anyways, i don't think that i have anything else to rant about right now so i'm gonna go find something to do. bye for now.

ok, well i'm back. it's been like four, almost five months now. well since june 4th, i guess was the last post, i graduated, moved to atlanta the day after graduation (friday the 13th), and now i'm in school and LOOKING FOR A JOB (Lamar!) it's pretty fun i guess. school is so easy. it's much easier than in high school. and people used to tell me how hard and tough it was gonna be. maybe it's just me and the fact that it's only my first year/semester. but other than that, there's really nothing new with me.

i was gonna dye my hair again that orangish brownish color, but i think i'm gonna let the black grow back out. maybe i'll dye it another color all together. i was gonna go get my nose pierced last week, but lamar and leniqua didn't think that i should do it, so i didn't, even though my sister and my mom both thought i should, but whatever, i'm gonna trust their judgement.

so halloween is coming up. my sister will turn 13 that day, but we're both gonna have to go out trick or treating cause apparantly i still look like i'm 12. i swear to god, if one more person asks me if i'm 12 or 13 again! that really gets on my nerves, seriously. but whatever man.

i haven't talked from a lot of people from charlotte since i left. i miss talking to brim and lang and robert and becky and amanda and everybody. so many people are pregnant and getting married. tiffany is pregnant and getting married, some other white girl had a baby, and danielle and victoria are having babies and getting married (victoria already got married). i heard someone else was pregnant, but i forgot who. i heard greg lawrence was gay, but that's old news to me. i still can't believe it.

ok, well i gotta get back to class. i only have class like on tuesday and thursday, so i guess i'll be doing this thing twice a week now. better than nothing huh? that's right. ok, well then. wow, that was fun. catching up. ok, peace.

being in atlanta with my sister and mom and dog and friends and climate and school and culture and everything. speaking of atlanta...an ex-"friend" of mine wants to "hook-up as friends" when i come back to atlanta. yeah, it's the guy i was talking about before. i told him i was going to ga state and he's going to ga tech...they're like two minutes from each other...but anyways, he wants to hang out with me this summer. ha ha ha. that is so funny. i'm gonna have him eating out of the palm of my hand, again, by the time we get back to school. i'll teach that bastard a lesson or two. but anyways, other than that. i got to talk to him recently and he seems like the pretty cool guy that he always was. anyways, we talked for a couple of hours and i knew i had him by the time he got off that first day a couple days ago. ever since, he's been getting on when he knows i'll be on just to talk to me. what a cupcake. but besides that, i'm gonna hang out with shae shae this summer and get a job to save up for college. oh yeah, daniel, the guy, said he'd help me with that too. anyway, i've already sent most of my things on ahead so all i have to do now is put a few things in the trunk and leave. i'm so excited! oh, i forgot to add that i moved out for like three days because i got mad that my dad got mad at me for missing a spot while sweeping the floor, but then i had to move back in cause i had nowhere else to go. in other news...i won a lot of awards on awards night. i graduate next thursday on the 12th. oh, and tim thinks he's trying to make me jealous somehow by kissing and holding kelly in the back of calculus. i don't want that boy! i swear to god...if i wanted him, i would have him! but anyway, that's about it. i think i'm happy.

i cannot believe this guy. ok, let me put the story on front street first. i was in charlotte. i get into this big fight with my dad so i move to florida, then georgia to live with my mom. while in georgia, i met this guy. he asked me out and i said sure. we went out for the rest of the year. he knew i was gonna move at the end of the year back to north carolina to live back with my dad but he said he wanted to continue a long distance relationship with me because he 'loved' me. anyway, after like five months apart, he decides that he doesn't want to go out with me anymore and why? well because he and my 'friend' had started going out. so he told me he still wants us to be friends. i wasn't really upset about the break up, just upset over the reasons. he broke up with me for a 'friend'. that's just really 'f'ed up isn't it. well anyway, it's been over a year and a half and i hadn't heard a word from him since and he finally decides to email me yesterday. he's like...'guess who...what's up?" how even more 'f'ed up is that. anyway, we'll see how it goes. i'll holla. peace.

oh, well lamar was mad at me yesterday. that's ok, i was mad too. but that's enough of that...i had my CT scan today. they won't tell me anything for the next few days. i really wanna know though. i've been taking all these tests and nobody's told me anything about nothing you know? i just hate having to wait. anyway, they made me drink four cups of some nasty crystal ice lemonade drink with crushed up pills or something in it cause it tasted weird and it was really hard for me to drink. i've been going to the bathroom all day. i hate this. now i'm so tired and sleepy. i think i'm gonna sleep for the rest of the day. then they went to put me on an IV to inject dye into my body so that they could see my organs on the CT scan...they couldn't even find my friggin' veins! the lady couldn't find it in my right arm cause it was so small, so she went over to my left arm and stuck the IV in like three or four times. i was in so much pain. but then she still couldn't find it so she got her assistant radiologist to come over and try to find my vein. she went back over to my right arm, took a good while looking for the vein again, and had to stick me twice before she finally got it. that was just way too much for me. but i can't wait to get my results back. i'm so nervous, but we'll see how it goes. ok, i feel like puking from all that water so i'm gonna do that and then i'm gonna take a long nap. i'll holla.

wow, i hadn't been on this thing in a hot little minute. what's up guys? so, yesterday was prom. it was a lot of fun. i mean, it was REALLY fun. i saw all my friends, everybody was all dressed up with their nails done and their hair did. it was great. we all went in a group. it was me, lamar, lang, brim, brim's cousin, bobo, amanda, rebecca, and rebecca's brother john. we all went over to becky's house where we talked, ate, got dressed, got our makeup and hair done, all that. then we left for the prom. that was really fun. i danced with everyone. i danced with brim, rebecca, lamar, lang, lawrence, leniqua, MITCH, and a few other folks. MITCH was the most...interesting one that i danced with. let's just say that he got REALLY EXCITED. how doI know? well i felt it all up in my groin, stomach, my chest, all that. no, i'm exaggerating, but it was wild. he's so funny. he was pulling me in all close and like trying to hold my but-tocks to pull me in REALLY CLOSE. uh huh, i know what that was all about. he almost punctured one of my ovaries with that thing! but it was all good, all fun. 's s express' was holding it down. me and mitch were gonna have a dance-off with lamar and leniqua, but i know we would have won, so we let that one go. it was great. leniqua told me that lamar was mad when lemitch did that...grabbed me away from him to dance with him. i will say though, that mitch was VERY VERYsmooth the way he walked up to me, grabbed me, and started to dance with me. i swear to god that was one of the smoothest things i'd ever seen in my life. that's close to when lamar and i first started talking and lamar asked me for my number. the way lamar did that was so smooth too. then i danced with lawrence. i got too low for him. he couldn't handle all that jelly you know what i'm sayin? yeah you do. then trey's high 'a' thought i was drunk. i probably was. that "sparkling cider" didn't taste nonalcoholic. i think becky's parents picked up the wrong bottle. i really think they did cause i was wild that whole time. it was great. i hit the running man on the dance floor with "l-dub" aka leniqua. oh, and lang danced with four guys at the same time (bobo, john, lamar, robert). it was the funniest thing in the world. i loved it. we did the cha cha slide and the electric slide too. but they didn't play my song that night, "get low". oh well, next time. i hung out with leniqua a lot of the time there. OH!...lawrence got braces! that is so wild. why in the 'h' did he go and get braces on the day before prom and mess up shanelle's prom pictures like that. he could have waited one more day. that was messed up. now he won't even smile. he tries to hold it in, but he can't fight it when he's around me. i have that power over him. whenever he sees me or i talk to him, he just has to smile, i swear to god. oh, i saw raven. i love raven. that's my little buddy. she was looking right last night. she had her hair, nails, makeup did and her dress was pretty. she's really cool. who else...oh, natalie and her boyfriend...oh god. wow, he's not all that, but whatever. i saw pernell (nuff said). i saw mr. lowe too and i was gonna drop it on him and i asked him if he was gonna dance, but he said no, but that he might, but he didn't. i was very diasppointed. mr. daniel or mr. carr wasn't there. or at least i didn't see them. ok, well that was pretty much it. fun huh? yep. and then afterwards, we went back to becky's house. we did nothing but talk and play cards. we were gonna go bowling, but that didn't work out. matt picked us up later after everybody else had already gone. we went back to my house where i missed my curfew by minutes and was miraculously not punished for it. ok, then the day after the prom, today, was pretty fun. i got to hang out with lamar. matt picked me up and the three of us went to his house to hang out. i had dinner with them and then matt went off to work and me and lamar hung out alone for the next two and a half hours. i guess you could say that we had fun. i won't share what we did here though, but i will say that we had ALOT OF FUN. now it's sunday night and i'm ready for bed. i'm so tired. ok then. till next time. holla.

today's my birthday. i've been thinking about 50 cent's song "in da club" all day. 'go shawty, it's ya birthday.' i had a pretty good time. everybody at school was very receptive to me. i got a lot of hugs and then mr. lowe, being the loud fat bald white guy that he is, announces that it's my birthday and leads the class in singing happy birthday to me. it was pretty fun. i went to the doctor's office today and they finally had my bloodwork back. they did unfortunately find something wrong. there's something wrong with my pancreas and gall bladder. yeah. i have a swollen pancreas and gall stones (possibly) in my gall bladder, which rarely happens in girls my age...it usually only happens in older (40-50 years old) women. it's all good though. i'm not really worried about it. they're gonna send me in for further tests and see if they can't remove my gall bladder and what they're gonna do about my pancreas. i might have to have some sort of surgery to get it removed. that should be fun. other than that...i went out to ryan's with my dad and brother and my dad's friend for a birthday dinner. then we got back and now i'm gonna go do homework, then go to bed. that's about it for my special day. peace.

it's monday. it's raining. i'm tired. i'm bored. so, they might cancel prom. that would be really messed up if that happened. not enough people are buying tickets. well, let's see, what might be the problem? could it be the PRICE OF THE TICKETS!! yeah, i think that might be it. the price is just ridiculous. anyway...the 'S S Express' was explained to me and this person 'supposedly' didn't know what they were talking about, so i'm gonna take a chance and go ahead and believe them. it's all good now. today was darnell's birthday. tomorow is mine. tim told me happy birthday today in case he forgot to tell me tomorrow, which i know he definately won't. that's about it. oh, and lawrence and leniqua...work it out young people. ok, gotta go rest. peace.
