If you woulda told me what we were gonna be going through (COVID-19), I woulda asked what sci-fi movie is that from?? Shit is wild.

I am truly enjoying this time with my little family though.

When I tell you that my son is my MOST. FAVORITE. THING. ON. THE. PLANET. !!!! Would be a huge understatement.

Motherhood. I’ve never wanted to fight so many bitches for my baby. Motherhood.

can I just say...I LOVE LOVE LOVE my little family. My husband, my baby boy, our life. I love it all so much. I could never have imagined that this would be my reality. I absolutely love being a mom. I’ve never been more in love with a human than I am with my son. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us. Next up, working on our little girl...Willow. Liam is going to be an awesome big brother. Til next time.

On another note...I want to talk about a patient I recently had. I’m gonna talk about it because this was the BEST paient encounter I have ever had since becoming a doctor. This patient was deaf and brought an interpreter with her who was supposed to know sign language. This deaf patient had last been seen ten years prior and was expecting to see the other, now retired doc that she'd seen in 2010. So she was a bit disappointed when I walked in the room. She tried communicating with me through her translator, but turns out that the friend knew even less sign language than I thought. So I pulled out a little trick I learned while working at the Navajo Indian hospital in New Mexico. I pulled up a word document and set the font to really large and typed out everything for her there and handed her a note pad to communicate with me. She was so impressed with me taking the time to figure out how to communicate with her and listen to her hat she, at the end of the exam, stopped, looked me dead in my eye, and said “You are very good, thank you so much.” and proceeded to give me the biggest, most genuine hug I’ve ever had. She asked for my card at the end and could not have been happier. Oh, and during the part of the exam where they read the eye chart, she would sign a letter from the chart and her friend was supposed to be translating. But she was getting the letters all wrong. I would put up a letter ‘f’ and the translator would say that she signed ‘d’ and I’d have to say, no, that’s an ‘f’ that she signed. Or I’d have to say, ‘No, she’s right, that’s an A she signed.” And the translator would be like “oh yeah, that’s right.”  So moral of the story is...I know more sign language than I thought I did. I always wanted to learn more. That’s definitely on my bucket list.

Baby boy is a little over three months now. I honestly truly never imagined how much in love I could ever be til he came around. Oh my god.

My baby is perfect. Perfect baby boy and I am so in love. He looks just like a really yellow/light skinned version of me. He has my lips and nose. Looks like his eyes are gray right now. They’ll probably change at some point. I love this little guy. Can’t wait to start trying for a girl, too. Wow. I’m a mom. That shit’s crazy.

Yoooooo. Baby kicks are awesome! 80 more days til we meet our little baby.

Everybody keeps commenting about how huge my breasts are getting. Never been this big in my life. We’ll see if they stick around. But my lips are getting bigger too! Everything is swelling. 4 more months to go and we are too excited. Lance is super excited. I was devastated when I first found out cause we weren’t planning it. But he was supportive and super excited from day one. He’s gonna be an awesome dad. He talks to my belly all the time. He rubs my belly, my back, my feet. He’s an awesome husband and I can’t wait to see him be an awesome dad.

Hips are spreading, ass getting big, breasts way too big for my bras...under boob sweat! Lol, pregnancy is great! Five more months!

I gotta admit...seeing all of my friends having babies. I kinda want one. I hadn't had baby fever in YEARS. It's creeping back around. Me and Lance have been thinking about starting to try for a baby by the end of the year. All of my friends are having little baby girls. I always wanted a little boy first. But now I'm leaning towards a baby girl. A little Jenny. I'd call her Josephine, Joey for short. Joey and Jenny. I'm so in love with the idea. And truthfully, I'm already 32...I'm not getting any younger so I need to go ahead and get started. And Lance would give me beautiful babies. I'm a doctor now, we can afford to have a baby. My residency will be done in 6 weeks! I'm applying for my license to practice in Arkansas...got some job offers out there. I've honestly gotten job offers in almost every state, but I'm leaning more towards Memphis, TN and Arkansas. The next couple of weeks will tell. I'm hoping to sign a contract soon. Lance and I are looking at apartments/lofts in downtown Memphis right now. I'm excited to start my career, start our family. I'm so happy with life right now. More to come soon 😊😊😊

32 in an hour. Just getting better and better with age. Hubby wants to start making babies soon. We'll see.

Super late night at work and I just want to come home and crawl in bed with bae. But he's not here yet 😭 3 more days 

So...they have this heart shaped nipple surgery thing and...I want!! So badly! I think it's so hot. Maybe for my next birthday? 🤔

1 month down here in Crownpoint, 11 more to go. I miss my Memphis family! 😭😭😭 Where me and Lance will end up, I have no idea. But we're in this thing together. 

This res is nice, but I'm a city girl. I'm trying to appreciate the scenery, the desert. It's cool.

It's funny to see what paths we take in life. Like, 5 years ago, would I have imagined myself here? No. Not even 2 years ago but here I am.
